The Commission is established under Title 2 of the Navajo Nation Code (2 N.N.C. §§ 970–972) and is responsible for developing recommendations for Navajo government reform and advancing a proposal for consideration by the Navajo People through referendum.

COMMISSIONERS WILL:

• Participate in the development of Navajo Government Reform
• Engage with communities and stakeholders
• Provide input grounded in governance, law, and Diné Fundamental Law
• Attend Commission meetings and contribute to decision-making
• Approve the finalized draft of the Navajo Government Reform Proposal
