The Executive Director of the Office of Navajo Government Development (ONGD) is appointed by the Commission on Navajo Government Development. The Executive Director is responsible for administering the Office and providing leadership to ensure the effective implementation of its mission. This includes supervising ONGD staff, managing daily operations, and coordinating efforts to align the Office’s work with legislative directives and strategic priorities.
As the chief administrator, the Executive Director plays a key role in supporting the Navajo Nation Council and the Commission in advancing government reform initiatives. The Director ensures that all activities of the Office are carried out in accordance with the responsibilities set forth in Navajo Nation Council Resolution CD-68-89.
